This week has been very busy in Momlife and I barely had time to sculpt or paint. But the little I did manage to get done is shown here. I hope next week will be better and with more time to be an artist. But I rolling with the time I get. 🙂 Moorigan has only changed a little bit – I am working on details mainly. Some bone structure is added and I need to order a few more items to proceed the work on her. But I can’t wait to get back to it!
My Nirvana illustration is going slowly but surely. I feel like it takes forever but in Momlife, time is different. I am proud to not have lost patience in this project and it still excites me.
Next up is something I haven’t shared yet and that is when I need a break from being creative. And that is knitting. This time I am knitting a rather difficult piece and finally something for myself. (I have knitted for my kids only – and I already have a few pieces I want to knit for spring, so I better knit quick) It’s a sweater by Norah Gaugham Nightingale and it is so hauntingly beautiful I had to try an make it for myself. So far I have made only a few minor mistakes which won’t show up in the pattern I knitted. But so far, I am very pleased with the result.
This is it for this week and I hope next week some things will be complete. 🙂 Have a nice weekend you all! 🙂
