Wasn’t it last week, that I was so positive with getting stuff done? Yes, it was. Well, that was a failure. I started off strong with a beautiful sketch and I wanted to color it throughout the week and to be finished on Sunday. And then I rushed because I had not much time and thats when sh*t happened. Never RUSH a painting. I improvised a lot of it and the result is a mess in construction and overall too much going on. Not what I was going for. (As you can tell)
On Tuesday things went of plan. My hubby got injured. Not as awful as it sounds but bad enough to be on bedrest at home. So my workload increased naturally and my time to draw was cut short once more. So basically, I tried to do it all and nothing got really done properly and with much fun.
But I managed to do a lot of stuff with the kids. We planned our garden for 2021 and bought flower seeds. Also some strawberry and tomato seeds. Now we wait for them to grow on our window sill. And we were out a lot because we had such nice weather. It was like a spring preview. 🙂
I wrote my Prolog for my book as well. So not all plans were cut short.
For next week, I want to succeed drawing this picture I have in mind. But also with all the things I have learned while doing all the mistakes.
Never give up is key.
I have already finished a new sketch and I am in the progress of coloring it. Just as last week(s) I really hope, that I have more time at hand in the coming week. 🙂
Thank you for reading my weekly updates although they are currently not as productive as I want them to be. 🙂
