I have some good news! As you all might remember, I have been busy writing my first novel for a few month now. And I have sent my draft to some agencies for a review.
I was very lucky to get a reply and an in depth review of what I have been writing. And I was crying my eyes out reading the answer. Not because it was bad, but because I was praised! And I was advised to build up my writing skills and work on sharpening my story. And to not stop writing because I have potential.
It was the first time hearing that my dream of becoming an author is not a lost cause and that I have the ability to actually write something worth reading. And this made me so happy, I cried for almost an hour.
(Hubby was like: „Honey you can’t cry every time someone likes your work!“)
And of course he is right but I had lost hope after month have past since I have been sending out my draft.
I have always been a believer in hard work and being passionate for what you want to do. It can be done!
So I took the words of advice and enrolled into creative writing classes to get better at writing. Then I will rewrite my novel and try again.
I am so excited! 🙂
